San Francisco Marriott Marquis

Really enjoyed my stay here. Location is right in the heart of things. The lobby had suitably Christmas vibes, while my room had a great bed and great views. Special mention for Asher on reception, who went out of his way to make the stay even better — great service from Asher, and a warm welcome in general.

Stayed at this hotel for a few nights and had a great experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was convenient for getting around. Amenities were decent, and the breakfast offered good variety. Would definitely consider staying here again.

I’m at Marriott since Friday. Staying till Wednesday Dec 3rd. Came to attend the NABC - a National bridge tournament. It’s almost Christmas. The decor and ambiance and atmosphere is simply outstanding. A very huge plus is the highly motivated staff - whether it be housekeeping ( some names worth mentioning- Alvin and Ricky); front desk ( Can’t forget John ); at the restaurant ( though overly crowded, they still did their best with a smile 😊); the bar on the 34th floor ( oooooo very great atmosphere and service), the size of the halls was outstanding and impeccably well maintained- no foul smelling carpets and Smokey corridors); the good Peet’s coffee was the highlight of my day. However some leaky taps need maintenance. That’s about the only complaint I have. Love the toiletries provided

I had high expectations for this Marquis location, especially as a Titanium member on my honeymoon, but unfortunately, this stay was a major buzzkill after an otherwise amazing trip through California. While I understand San Francisco is busy and the hotel was crowded for a Saturday, the service was consistently disappointing: -The Room & Wait: We waited hours for our room to be ready. Despite being promised an upgrade, we were eventually given a small corner room with only a partial view. -Lack of Service/Empathy: The biggest disappointment was the staff's refusal to help us store the top layer of our wedding cake. We had traveled with it professionally boxed and wrapped, and every other Marriott property on our trip (4 nights prior) had been happy to assist. The front desk was unhelpf

To start off I want to acknowledge Rosanna who helped me and my boyfriend check out and apologized for her coworker who had checked us in the day before. Brianna checked me in and did not let us know that we had $20 credit at the cafe, and extra perks that we were never told of. It was my first time at this location and I read all the reviews about the service being great, but she definitely did not stand in that criteria. It definitely felt like she would treat people based off how you looked or were dressed. However, Rosanna was great and was able to find a solution for the credits we didn't receive. Other than that the rooms are very clean, the location is great, and all the other staff members were amazing and very helpful! The valet guys are great as well!
