Check-in was very easy and fast, which was great after a long drive. I stayed in a king room with a balcony, and I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, comfort of the bed, and the room amenities. The balcony had a beautiful street view, and being on the 5th floor made it even better and more enjoyable, especially in the evening. The hotel location is a big plus. It is very close to Grant Avenue — on one side, you have easy access to European-style cafes and restaurants, and on the other side, you are right next to Chinatown with local shops and great food. Union Square is also nearby, about a 20-minute walk, which made sightseeing very convenient. Another huge advantage was the free parking, which is rare in San Francisco. Stay here from 11.09.24 - 13.09.23||Checked in late afternoon, very efficient, large double room at the back of the hotel on the top floor with a view over the city. Room was clean with a large double bad, this was comfortable. This is an older hotel, the windows and doors could do with modernising but this didn't affect the stay in anyway.||The hotel is located on the edge of China town, 30 mins walk to Pier 39 & close to the financial district, the real bonus is free parking in central San Francisco.||Overall a great stay, would certainly re-visit.

We love this place. It is located perfectly in Chinatown. some rooms have balconies which make for fun if you want to just hang out and watch Chinatown. The parking is free(HUGE PLUS). But it is a motor lodge, not a fancy hotel. If you can get past the age and style, it is a great choice.

Nice motel location right near Chinatown. Parking lot is right outside the rooms and is a great addition. Rooms were clean and spacious. The place is dated but it adds to the nostalgia. Would have no issues staying here again.
