Royal Inn

Very rude. Cussed at me and disrespected me. Got mud with my boots and had me clean it up. Be sure to check under the beds for bed bugs and under the microwave for cockroaches. Lots of roaches. He has no respect for people. Do not go here. Some doors didn't have locks most rooms were vacant because they were so disgusting it was not available. Trashed microwaves outside, trashed mattresses outside,siding outside. Very dirty.

Bed was hard, they offer no towels, toilet paper, wash cloths, roof coming off the top of the building, mold in the bathroom. Don’t stay here. They tried charging 20.00 for eye shadow getting on a sheet.

This was the worst hotel/motel that I have EVER been too. We paid $47 dollars a night to stay here. We had stayed here in the past and never had problems. This time it was the nastiest room that I have ever stayed in buy I thought it would be ok for one night. The bed was broke, and the sheets were nasty. I had to ask the people in the office to come and change the bed. The bed had looked like someone had already been laying on it while watching tv or something. Sorta scary!! We were laying in the bed around 11 oclock at night when I decided that I wanted a cigarette. I went out on the front deck to smoke, again, there was no noise what so ever coming from the room, and I was the only person upstairs on the balcony. 4 🌟 only because the owners are remodeling, so sorry for no pics on my behalf but I will say the owner where very comfortable people to be around and talk to so I think them for the great customer service. To be honest I've been back in the hickory are for almost a year or more and I am just now noticing this inn that happen to be a good buget helper. The room the gave me was basic but very neat and kept up and I got relax and watch some good movies and get a good night sleep... Just check it out maybe you'll get them same or if not better experience and like always I 🙏much ✌and 🖤 to all that read this post.

This is a budget friendly motel that seems to be under going renovations. The rooms are pretty basic, but they are large. The room was clean. The area is a little questionable but the community seems to be changing for the better. I believe they also offer weekly rental rates. The Wi-Fi isn't reachable to all rooms, but it is free if you are able to get the Wi-Fi signal in your room. I was not able to receive Wi-Fi signal, but the owner told me this before I paid for the room.
