Best Western Hickory

We really enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel! It’s located conveniently off of I-40 surrounded by a “hub” of many other hotel options. In regards to value for money, you can’t beat this place! Interior rooms are nicely renovated, staff is friendly, free breakfast is provided, and we didn’t break the bank to stay. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed an extra night due to a major car issue. The staff at this hotel could not have been more kind and gracious during a very stressful situation. Despite everything we are going through we had a lovely stay here and everybody was wonderful. They had a lovely lobby for us to hang out in while we waited. Wonderful staff!!

Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. |John in particular was so friendly and true treasure. |Wonderful comfortable bed and with plenty of pillows. |Large television and reliable wifi. |Close to a variety of shops and eateries. |Well lit, clean bathroom.||Only complaint was the lack of a lift. Dragging luggage up the stairs was draining after a long couple of days travel. I was thankful a fellow guest came to my rescue on the second flight of stairs.

Positive: location Negative: Very, very old. The people next door smoked so much the smoke came through the electric plates of our room. Those same people had 2 pit bulls in their room. I got out of the car and was practically attacked by one, not leashed. Unpleasant experience.

Staff was so incredible! This was the first stop on our honeymoon last year and we decided to come back. They did everything in their power to make sure we got the exact same room, and we even got to see John who checked us in last year and so patiently took pictures in the lobby for us. We’ll see you next year!
