Hilton Garden Inn Hickory

I recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn - Hickory and overall had a decent experience. The highlight of my stay was definitely the bar area — the customer service there was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. It was easily the best service I received during my visit. The front desk staff was professional and handled check-in efficiently, but it was apparent they didn’t really want to be there. It wasn’t a negative interaction, just lacking warmth and enthusiasm. The rooms were clean, which I appreciated, but looked "thrown together". Another downside was the lobby market area. Walked in late this evening to a roach crawling up the wall. Interstate / area road noise is just as bad here as at the Fairfield next door. But to top it all, every time one of us roll over in bed the entire bed creaks! (And we are average size people) |Mattresses are too firm. ||PLEASE SOMEONE open a decent hotel in this city! PLEASE!

Positive: It was very clean! Helpful and friendly staff! Rooms were amazing clean and roomy! The pool and hot tub were perfect! Negative: I wish the pool would stay open 24 hours or later than 11pm. I am a night owl and at 11pm I am just getting ready to get out of the room and do things, like swim. Also wish the resturant was later than 10pm and bar was later than 11pm.

We traveled 3 hours for a concert. A friend in Hickory recommended the Hilton Garden Inn, and it did not disappoint. Excellent room, staff, breakfast and the hot tub was incerdibly relaxing. We got in it when we arrived on Saturday and again Sunday morning when it opened at 6:00 AM then had the delicious breakfast buffet. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful

I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hickory, North Carolina. The service was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Terry and Lisa, who ran the bar and grill, were outstanding—every order was handled with care, and they truly went above and beyond. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and welcoming, always ready to answer my questions or help with anything I needed. Even during a snowstorm, the entire staff managed to provide flawless service. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area!
