Red Roof Inn Hickory

The rooms were fine. Just needs a bigger refrigerator and one that has a freezer. Did see some roaches. Service was fine. Most of the ladies that worked in the office were very nice. Sorry but the owner in my opinion has to learn how to work better with the public. Another issue was no set rate. Rates were up and down. Red roof not bad but can do better.

Positive: The room clean Negative: There were bugs, not organized very well, noise is not dealt with

Juan at the front desk was very helpful but the overall cleanliness of this place was awful. There were hairs all over the bed. The comforter had a big hole in it. An outlet was off the wall, exposing electrical wires. To top it all off, there were roaches everywhere!!

My Red Roof Inn Hickory, NC stay was horrible on Tue night Feb 17th. All except the verry nice lady Ashley who checked us in. Got into my room, disgusting. Turned on the lights. ROACHES Mold in the bathroom when we went to shower. Everything barely in tacked. Cigarette burns everywhere in a non-smoking room. Holes in bedding. Gross pillows. We were so tired, showered and was ready to go to sleep. Filthy rooms nothing worked Had to get up to turn the TV channels because the remote didn't work. The microwave was not working to warm our food. Stained Sheets and blankets. Cigarette burns in the bed spread of as I said a "Non Smoking" room. The room and bathroom was Moldy. Noisy outside while trying to sleep. There was hair all through the room from the floor to the sicnk. Next time I will pay

Lady at the front was nice this time. New lady thank goodness. It's either red roof or Econolodge. Rooms aren't bad. They have been renovated. So if you tried it before and didnt like it, then give it another go. New people and new rooms.
