I don’t even know how to describe how vile this hotel room was. It was like stepping into a horror movie where hygiene goes to die. I’ve stayed in budget places before, but NOTHING prepared me for this. We walked in, and the smell hit us first – a mixture of old socks, mildew, and something unidentifiable but definitely not sanitary. Then I saw the bathroom and almost gagged. There was literally pee all over the toilet. Not a little spot – like someone had a target practice session and housekeeping just said, “meh.” How do you hand a room over to a guest without even cleaning the toilet?! It’s not just lazy, it’s absolutely shameful. At that point, I didn’t even want to imagine what was lurking in the sheets. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy sleep on that bed. We went straight to the front
The first night I was there there was a verbal fight outside my door. After checking the room it was immediately noticeable that the bare minimum of cleaning is actually performed. The floor did not look clean and there was no cleaning done at all underneath the bed as there was food and other debris underneath. I did not feel the safest at this location and I would not recommend any of my family or friends staying here. One thing I did notice was the pool did look very clean though.
Staying here was a complete mistake — I genuinely regret ever booking this place. From the moment we walked in, it was clear something was off. The air smelled damp and stale, like the room had been sealed up with mold and sweat for a week. Whatever that smell was, it definitely wasn’t anything you’d want to breathe in. Things went from bad to worse when we checked the bathroom. The toilet looked like it hadn’t even been glanced at by housekeeping. There was urine all over the seat — not just a bit, but enough to make it clear no one had cleaned it at all. It was appalling. How does a hotel think it’s acceptable to hand that over to a guest? The bed looked sketchy too — dingy sheets and a questionable overall vibe. We didn’t even sit down, just grabbed our stuff and went to the front des
Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. Upon entering the room, I was greeted not by cleanliness or comfort, but by the unmistakable stench of neglect—and worse. There was pee on the toilet seat, which tells me housekeeping either has a sense of humor or simply doesn’t exist. The room was clearly not cleaned, and it felt like I was the unlucky guest in a very bad prank show. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was met with a representative who had the attitude of someone being personally inconvenienced by my very existence. Rude, dismissive, and utterly unhelpful—like customer service from an alternate reality where guests are the problem. This place doesn’t deserve your money or your time. Spend both somewhere that doesn’t t
We got in very late and after two other tries ended up at the Rodeway Inn around midnight. The person working the night shift told me that the room was going to be 130 dollars and when I asked why it was different then online he said it was just tax. When I questioned it he said to just book online. It was a $50 difference. The room is DISGUSTING! The carpet was so filthy we didn’t even feel save putting our kids down on the floor to walk. There were beer bottle caps and used tissues under the beds. Sections of the floor were charred black. The smoke detector was dismantled and put in a drawer. There was paper shoved in the door latch so people could return without a key to access our room. The blinds were broken so they were impossible to close so people could see us while we
