Rodeway Inn Gallup West

The exact location for this place is 3275 W Historic Hwy 66, Gallup, NM 87301 It is not on the east but WEST SIDE Overall,It is a very good place with good Service. The only and big downside is that it doesn't have good wifi. I tried using their wifi for basic web surfing and it would be SO SLOW! And because of the location, the phone data is not good either. Its a good place but if you need to get work done and need wifi, this is not the place. It would work a little then stop working completely later in the evening.

Very old & run down. Our room 104 door didn’t even lock from the outside ..you could just push it to open it. Not safe @ all! And I think we stayed in that same room in April & it was broke then. How long does it take to fix a door? Front desk was aware…they have so many other vacant rooms…why use it? And anyone can enter the hotel from outside using the side doors since they are not locked &/or do not require a key card to open. And breakfast was minimal. Price was low so that helped.

Positive: Good location & availability. Shower was above average. Negative: Poorly maintained, room door didn?t fit, drapery wouldn?t close all the way & no microwave! Breakfast was sparse.

The rooms are clean but old, the bedsheets looked brand new and the mattress didn't have any stains or bedbugs! This is an excellent budget choice for a hotel, the breakfast leaves room to be desired, but not much to complain about, cool pancake machine! Staff is very friendly and helpful. It can be a difficult location to navigate to with gps, hopefully it gets fixed on the tech side of things.

The room is clean but nothing fancy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. **GPS will take you to the wrong location.*** Not the hotel's fault, they have tried to fix it. It's on rt.66 on the WEST side of town. GPS takes you to the EAST side.
