La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gallup

Such a great experience, staff is very friendly. Rooms were very clean, we got double sized bed (full) with double beds for my wife and I and our two kiddos (2yo & 12yo). They have a washer and dryer 24hrs onsite, which came in handy because we used the pool and jacuzzi and needed to wash our clothes. The morning complimentary breakfast was exactly what the receptionist said. A “FULL”complimentary breakfast, waffles were amazing, cereal bar for the kids or if you want something light. Bagels and toast, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit cups were awesome for my kiddo. Overall amazing experience staying here, will most definitely book again on all our upcoming family trips. Don’t hesitate to reserve here, it won’t disappoint.

Don’t stay here if you want to sleep. Right across the street from a freight train, which runs all night. The hotel could and should do more to soundproof its rooms and or windows. They charge way too much at night for not getting any sleep. When we voice start concerned the next morning, we were told there’s nothing I could do about it, but there is. 

Our stay was short and suite! The location is perfect for traveling. It’s right off Interstate 40 W on the historical Route 66. The lobby isn't very impressive, however the rooms are clean and a nice size. The best part of this La Quinta was the king sized bed!!! Like sleeping on a cloud. It was one of the BEST beds we have ever slept on. To say it's comfortable is an understatement. We actually got a great night's sleep. Even the pillows felt good on my neck, and I am super picky with pillows because I have neck issues. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was adequate with a nice variety of food choices. We would definitely return to this location. Thank you La Quinta!

Great stay with our dogs on our roadtrip. The location is very convenient off the I-40 and Gallup was much quieter than Albuquerque. This location was next to some food options that were within walking distance and a pretty big gas station/convenience store. The only downside is that there is NO grass anywhere around for your dogs if they are not used to that. There is a fenced in potty area right next to the side entrance of the hotel that was very convenient to have. The room was very spacious and had minimal carpeting only on one part. Even though we were right in front of the elevator we didn’t hear any noise or disturbances all night. We would gladly stay here again if we needed to!

This place is great if you are traveling with dogs. They have a fenced in dog relief area that is very secure so you can let your dog off leash. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable with a plush mattress topper! The breakfast was a good as can be expected for a free hotel breakfast, many choices, hot and cold.
