HIGHLY RECOMMEND☆☆☆☆☆ This is the best Motel in Bryson City! The people are super nice the rooms are clean. It's not super fancy so it's not over expensive. I live here so I often stay here when things are going on or it's too hot at my house or too cold. I also recommend this to anyone who comes to visit me. So please come meet these very nice people who run this hotel stay and night or so. I highly recommend it!
VERY DATED! And VERY crowded for my wife and me. Front looks nice but rooms are from the 1960’s. AC is a window unit from the 1970’s built into the back wall near the bathroom. Front window is new and opens. Back windows do not open because of dirt buildup. Our room had a king bed, end tables, one dresser and a chair. No place to put luggage out but on the floor. Bathroom had a stand alone sink, toilet and bathtubs/shower. No where to put out toiletries but on top of the toilet. Clerk was not friendly or helpful. Had to ask about WiFi (they do have it) and ice. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable with no bugs. If you are looking for VERY budget this is it. Charging 1/2 or less than others in town. Google says it’s a 2 star motel. I’d say 1 1/3 star.
Positive: Cheapest around Negative: You get what you pay for. The room was musty, I bought air freshener and left the door open until I went to sleep. Bed was uncomfortable. Charged extra for paying with credit card. Pool was closed, shower was nasty, I felt cleaner not using it.
Stayed here last week. It's easily the worst motel I've ever stayed at. Avoid. (Attached pics)|-Spiders in the room|-no microwave in some rooms, they are DATED, and have a rancid smell.|-closet had a bed frame in it and no light|-shower door doesn't hold water back so the floor floods|-everything in the bathroom is short AF. You'll feel like Alice in wonderland.|-their HVAC unit, which is basically a window unit, has not been cleaned in about a decade and full of mold. I kid you not. Its so easy to remove the front cover to do it, they're just lazy AF.||At 119/night (weekend rate) being a 1 star hotel IF that, if it were me, I would've checked right back out and slept in the truck.
This I a good laid back place, with friendly staff. This is a quiet, peaceful place with an excellent view! It's not the Marriott, but for the price it's worth it. It's a good place to escape the world we live in and relax without the newer lifestyle. It reminds me of the days when I was a kid. I have not seen the first bug anywhere!!!
