Richland Inn

I booked this place in December as it was the only close hotel to an event we went to this past weekend. Thank goodness another hotel had a cancellation because as soon as we walked in I knew we couldn’t. Heat from a radiator on the wall. Ac from a little window unit. And then the cockroaches. I’ve never been so sickened by a place in my life. It needs shut down by the health department.

Overall good experience! The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and welcoming. I stayed in room 210. They are doing construction in and around the buildings so take that into consideration before staying here. I stayed here during a weekend and I don’t think anyone was working on the construction, at least I didn’t hear anything. The outside is nicely redone. However, the room was pretty bland and appeared to not have been remodeled yet. I don’t know if they intend of remodeling the rooms or just the outside. My room was not stuffy thankfully, however the ac did not work. The gentleman was very kind in bringing me a fan and opening the windows to the hallway so the cool air can get in my room (there’s the hallway between the outside windows and the room window, which I found interes

The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, our room was quite dirty. When we first got in the room the first thing I noticed was how dark the rooms are. To me, this doesn't give off clean vibes. I pulled back the blankets and sheets to check for bed bugs and didn't see any signs of them so that is a plus. I did however find what looked to be a pube hair on the bed. My husband attempted to talk me down saying that it could be a beard hair from whoever made the bed. Fair enough. We tried to move on. I got in the jacuzzi tub and as I sat in the bubbling water I began to notice detritous coming out of the jets and also noticed quite a bit of soap scum along the bottom of the tub. I was there to service an air conditioning chiller that was intermittent. It's an up and coming place, with a lot of new construction and remodeling in a few of the buildings going on. Great owner, and friendly people.

Stayed here to go to Thunder in the Valley. Owner couldn't have been a nicer person. They are in process of remodeling and the place is looking great. Will 100% be back next year.
