Hampton Inn Johnstown

Rooms were nicely renovated and appointed. Staff was kind and courteous. Breakfast was yummy. Beds were comfy but surprisingly a little on the noisy side when simply sitting down or rolling over on them. Other than that it was what you would expect from a typical Hampton Inn—a clean, comfortable, great value home away from home. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Very clean room, thank you. Loved that floor was hardwood instead of carpet. Price seemed a little high ($200+) for this class of hotel but would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was typical. Location very close to restaurants and shopping.

Positive: Location was key to our visit. Pool and Fire Pit were excellent amenities. Negative: Room was very dark. No seating other than a desk chair. No safe in the room.

Excellent hotel. We visited Jtown for a class reunion and stayed 6 days. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff very friendly and helpful. They have the standard hotel breakfast bar and they offer cookies at the front desk every afternoon & evening. The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft. I loved the fact that there is no carpeting so the room did not have a stale smell when you first enter. The towels are thick and they give you 4 sets each day. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room which was nice. The ice maker was located on each floor near the elevator. There is a laundry area on the 3rd floor. This is an excellent hotel. We planned on visiting Johnstown and the flood museum and selected the Hampton, thinking it was in downtown Johnstown. It isn't, it is on the hill above Johnstown. BUT....certainly one of the better places we have stayed. At check in, the friendly attendants gave us pointers where to visit and to eat. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was not cramped and there were sufficient hooks to hand towels, and it was quiet - very little noise from other guests. There is a very nice fire pit in back where we sat with coffee in the evening and listened to the insects. ||But the one quality that really impressed us was the breakfasts. We stayed 3 nights.
