Residence Inn by Marriott Wilmington Landfall

Staff seemed pleasant upon check-in. The room is old. Clean but old. The bed is not on the frame. Too late at night to mention it to front desk but it is a hazard. The brace for the frame is about 8" sticking out where you could trip or hurt yourself. Upon closer inspection the frame is actually askew under the box spring. I will mention to desk in the morning. Tub also seems to have a patch that is pulling up. The faucet is loose and to turn water on and hot it just keeps turning..almost as if there is no stop. Bathroom really needs a gut, lots of recaulking or attempts to fix. Price not matching accomodations. I love Residence Inn but this one while in a nice area leaves a lot to be desired. Residence Inn is typically our go to due to the bedroom and kitchenette options. Visiting family

Many thanks to Dee, for her empathy and sympathy during call to the hotel for reservation confirmation upcoming sad trip to Wilmington. ||Our room was quiet and clean, a wonderful respite. ||The new patio and fire pit is an added bonus. We had breakfast outside 2 days.||Breakfast the best we've seen in a Marriott property and the attendees were friendly and helpful.||Property grounds beautiful and area safe and well lit.||Very little, if any, room to room noise; some from hallway. ||We cannot wait to visit under happier circumstances and await the scheduled remodel updates.

Positive: The location was nice and very dog friendly. Negative: The breakfast was ok. However, we did not appreciate the sign soliciting tips for a service performed better at other hotels in this chain without asking for tips. Also, the room lacked upkeep. The sofa had a crusty white substance on it. Felt dirty.

This hotel was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed!! I stayed with a girlfriend of mine during the snowstorm because we both work in Landfall Shopping Center and I slept on the pull out bed in the living room and it was more than comfortable to sleep on. The rooms are just huge and so clean.

We had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I even reported a pair of earrings missing, and the team went above and beyond searching for them. Thankfully, I later found them in my luggage—but I truly appreciated how kind and professional the staff was in handling the situation. Highly recommend this hotel for both service and comfort!
