Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond West End

Pleasantly surprised extremely affordable if you go through one of the booking apps . Room was really good queen bed was comfortable everything was clean and tidy. Full size refrigerator with ice maker and stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher and a spacious counter top to fix lunch or dinner and you can also eat there has two stools there to sit. Also had a couch that pulls out to a bed , nice size tv , desk and chair and plenty of storage space. Very nice clean bathroom. I had no complaints at all. Definitely will come back.

Positive: Room had full kitchen Negative: The outside lighting was horrible. Pitch black dark walkways. Very dangerous. Would not recommend to anyone until this is fixed

The room had a strong smell of smoke. The water tasted and smelled like mildew out of the shower and kitchen sink. We could hear the cars whiz by at night. Furniture is worn. Countertops not properly cleaned. Electrical outlet in the middle of the living room floor is a major safety hazard if you have kids. The location is odd; fenced in in a semi industrial area. I've earned 3 million Marriott miles and this place is in the bottom 1% of hotels for the brand.

The staff is very nice and the studio was complete and comfortable. It's nice to have a full apartment. Yes, it's a but older, but with our small dog having direct outside access it was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was complete and varried each day. We were thrilled to be here as our temporary living when starting my new job in the Richmond area.

Our stay at the Residence Inn on Dickens in Richmond was wonderful thanks to the amazing team. An efficient, welcoming start to our stay thanks to Wendy, George was attentive and helpful, and Brandon stood out for his professionalism, kindness, and warm sense of humor. The property shows a little age, but it’s clean and comfortable, and the staff’s genuine care truly elevates the experience. Breakfast was satisfying with something for everyone and although there’s a $10 parking fee, the overall value — especially with the complimentary breakfast — made it more than worthwhile. We’d happily stay again!
