Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Beach Gardens

Our party of five had been traveling for hours after two flights were canceled due to storms back home. We ended up driving from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm, only to face multiple delays, board our flight, and then be forced to deboard at 2:00 a.m. because the crew timed out. With no sleep for nearly 24 hours, we were stranded at the airport trying to find a hotel on the spot just to rest for a few hours. Jennifer told us to come in, so we grabbed an Uber and headed over. While we were on the way, we received a text that our flight had been moved to 8:00 a.m., meaning we needed to be back at the airport by 6:30 a.m. When we arrived at the hotel at 4:00 a.m., we explained the situation and told Jennifer we didn’t even think we needed the room anymore. Exceptional property. Staff was amazing - friendly and helpful at all times. I stayed for an extended period of time and I was warmly greeted each time I returned.||This property is exceptionally clean. Each day the lobby is mopped.| The elevators are routinely cleaned, as are the hallways and other common areas. The housekeeping staff does a great job keeping the rooms clean. Easily the cleanest and best kept property I’ve stayed at.||Breakfast was better than most. The eggs were much better than typical free breakfast hotels. They would alternate breakfast meats - sausage, turkey bacon, bacon. Usually some form of potato is offered and occasionally even biscuits and gravy.||Highly recommend this hotel.

Positive: Location Negative: A pet cleaning fee of $175 was charged, plus $12.50 sales tax, totaling $187.50. This was not disclosed at the time of online booking. "Fees may apply" online; however, a definite fee. An additional parking fee of $10 per night - not disclosed!

I exclusively stay at Marriott properties and logged 74 nights last year alone. Unfortunately, my stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Beach Gardens was the worst experience I’ve ever had with the brand. The customer service was shockingly poor. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and clearly untrained. Simple requests were met with attitude rather than assistance, and basic hospitality standards were completely ignored. Instead of feeling welcomed or valued as a loyal Marriott guest, I felt like an inconvenience. This property does not reflect Marriott’s usual standards in any way. The lack of professionalism and customer care was unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Friendly and helpful staff. I forgot my toothbrush, ran out of tampons and they provided it free of charge. Breakfast had decent selection of hot and cold foods. The kitchen was well appointed. There’s a Whole Foods n Publix led than 7 min drive away. great restaurants nearby. I stay here during the holidays when I visit my in-laws. Would stay here again.
