Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Marlborough

I had a fantastic stay at the Residence Inn, and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service I received—especially from Ali! From the moment I arrived, Ali went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. Whether it was helping with check-in, offering great local recommendations, or just greeting me with a warm smile each day, Ali truly made the experience memorable.||The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and the amenities were perfect for a relaxing and productive trip. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each day, and the overall atmosphere was friendly and inviting.

Worst Marriott sub -brand experience. The good: location is awesome for the proximity to the ice sheets. It is across the street. The bad: Terrible anti-sanitary pool. Ants crawling around the pool area with clumps of dead ants drifting through the water. The tubs in the rooms (in ours and other teammate's) are poorly resurfaces and are gross. The pot and pan had remnants of food on them. Had to re-wash everything. Could not trust the cleanliness of the dishes. Couple of initial interactions with Ali at the front desk made me realize thar complaining or requesting a service would not lead anywhere. Because asking for a simple key reprogram for my son he just kept talking at me and would not do it saying he already reprogrammed it which still did not work. After multiple treks to the

Positive: The bed and pillows were great! Very well decorated and comfortable hotel. Negative: Wish there was complementary breakfast, free parking and a hot tub.

Though this hotel was undergoing renovations, the rooms are very spacious for a hotel, wifi was stable with the ability to stream and the staff extremely helpful. These rooms are perfect for short stays or longer business trips. The full kitchen allows for in room cooking so you do not have to rely on fast food. There is a Target just a mile or so up the road as well for pantry shopping. Most importantly, these rooms are very quiet, beds and pillows are comfy, and plenty of outlets to plug in an arsenal of electronic items. I did not eat breakfast during my week-long stay, but had the usual buffet fair of proteins (eggs, bacon, sasuage), fruits, yogurt and cereal with coffee, tea, OJ, and milk beverage options.

I almost never write reviews, but feel compelled to write one now. We booked this hotel for a hockey tournament at $189/night. We didn’t know that the hotel was under construction (so no pool) but also there were ladders, papers and other construction materials strewn about. We could have overlooked this, however the room was disgusting. The lower cabinets were all broken and the hinges were coming off, anyone sleeping on the pullout couch would likely need a tetanus shot the next day and there was what we believed to be blood on the bathroom door. We ended up going to the front desk after about 5 min and asking to cancel/for a refund, which was given without question, so 5 stars to Larissa for being accommodating, we appreciate it.
