Hyatt Place Marlborough / Apex Center

Booked 2 rooms, room 1 Sofa Bed was dirty, there were food particles on the sheet. We were moved to another room by front desk after we notified them, and once again the room we moved to also had stains on the cushions but we're flipped unside down. It was late night and kids wanted to rest so we managed and not use the sofa bed.||||During our stay we had 2 rooms booked and we moved from one to another due to sofa bed been dirty. However, all 3 rooms had issues with washroom sliding door, they didn't lock, and two of them didn't even completely close. We had to use it while ensuring no one walked in.||||Breakfast at hotels with similar rating had better options.||||The stay was a big disappointment for us, we were not expecting this from our stay.

My 10 years old hotel review is in the one of the pictures. We had a great comfortable stay. Breakfast was amazing, served hot as always. Shout out to Jennifer who helped me during the breakfast hour. Just a small advice regarding the breakfast menu: a little coordination between front office and staff required. We saw many kids were in the hotel on the New Year’s morning perhaps some hash browns or tatters would be appealing to little one. Love swimming pool hours 8am to 10 pm. All in all a comfort stay, and minor complaints were immediately addressed like the shaky faucet, and the broken outlet. FYI for other travellers: there is a microwave in the kitchen area to warm up your food.

Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling. Bathroom sink mostly clogged. Rusty bathroom vent. Room is clean. Everything works. Excellent shower pressure. Super fast check in.

Location is perfect and close to all the action! It was our anniversary weekend away and we mentioned when we were booking the room online directly through Hyatt. We weren’t looking to have champagne and chocolates in our room but a nice greeting gesture of the occasion that brought us to the hotel would have been nice. The room itself we got a “specialty” king on the top floor thinking it would have something a little bit special. Not sure what the speciality part was. The room itself had stains on the floor , peeling ceilings in the bathroom, dusty tv and furniture, bathroom door wallpaper and stopper peeling/broken. I assume this hotel was built around ten years ago so the update to today modern finishes are not there.. bring your charging block because there are no USB charging statio

Really nice staff and clean rooms. They honoured all benefits of Hayatt Explorers and were also nice enough to actually allow the late checkout. Location is great, a lot of eating options and hiking trails. Room size was approproate and in line with other hotels of Hyatt Place. Low light was the gym, with only treadmills and weights in immaculate condition. Rest of the equipment had damaged parts and I couldn't use them. The breakfast was also somewhat limited. Fruits didn't look fresh. With temporary gaps in keeping the dining area clean or no clean glasses available for bevrages untill someone pointed it out 10 mins later. I could also see gaps in property maintenance with scratches everywhere, bleach stain on my room's couch and blown out bulbs in my room. Bulbs were fixed later. Small
