Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center

Went here for the first time this weekend with my boyfriend. Liz at the main desk was awesome. Super nice, friendly, kind, and helpful. The area is super convenient. We did 99’s and apex entertainment which was awesome. Hotel was quiet, breakfast was great, room was nice and clean, and I was able to bring my dog with no issues. The pool temperature could have been a bit warmer, and wish they had a jacuzzi, otherwise it was a solid stay. We will be returning. I was a bit nervous to come with some of the lower reviews, but it was good.

This place has a new manager. This gentleman is phenomenal. You are welcomed with the utmost respect from every individual that works. At this establishment, new workers knew everything going on at this place.|I not only is this place cleaned and a wonderful area located by restaurants stores. You can take a nice walk if you like, or sit back and enjoy breakfast and this hotel. They also have a bar and restaurant on the weekends, so you don't even have to leave if you don't like nice pool. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, not too many places. Do you give fresh fruit a couple? Different types of eggs at different meat cereals. Oatmeals, coffee's teas, drinks juices. The moment we walked into our room, it was clear the “housekeeping” team must’ve been on a permanent vacation — blood stains on the sheets and mattress (ad other guests have also stated in the reviews), mystery substances galore, and a general vibe that screamed crime scene cleanup in progress. The real star of this hotel is the breakfast and the staff!!! The breakfast was amazing — full buffet and nothing you had to make yourself (tired of standing by a waffle maker for a half hour!). There was fresh fruit, variety of homemade eggs and pastries and meats. The home fries were delish. And the staff could not have been nicer. I admit I was a little wary after reading some other recent reviews but I’m telling you, there’s no way those people were talking about this hotel. It’s really nice, rooms are clean, staff is excellent and the free breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at any hotel, even ones where I had to pay.
