Customer Reviews
We’ve stayed at many Marriott properties over the years, but the Residence Inn Boston Downtown/Seaport was by far one of the most impressive! The building layout and design were unreal. It gave off Brooklyn-style vibes with little bridges connecting each floor. Everything felt modern, stylish, and welcoming. Our room was incredibly spacious, and the entire hotel was spotless! You can tell the cleaning team truly takes pride in their work. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, but special shoutouts go to Widelfry, Alanna, and Elizabeth for making our stay even better! Widelfry made check-in a breeze and gave us great food recommendations. Alanna and Elizabeth greeted us with genuine smiles every time we walked through the lobby. Alanna was even working at the bar one night,
We decided to stay here after a long 6 months of planning my daughters 1st birthday so we needed a really good night rest and celebrate our hard work. The staff that welcomed us were very friendly and engaged in conversation. The view from the elevator was absolutely stunning at night and even more In the day time it reminded you of Paris or something alike. The room was even better. The loft style left us speechless and as we explored the room we fell in love with this hotel and style. The shower had two different shower heads and was spacious and the bed super comfy. When we requested a late checkout the lady at the desk wasn't very nice but it didn't impact our stay too much. Lol sorry for the long review but it was definitely worth it. Will definitely visit again.
I am an Ambassador Elite member with Marriott and this stay was an absolute disappointment. Upon check-in on December 15th, 2025, I was assigned Room 624, which was freezing cold. I reported the issue immediately and was told it would be fixed. I waited outside the room for nearly three hours. When I was later informed the issue was resolved, I returned to find the room unchanged. When I reported this again, I was challenged by the front desk receptionist (Allana, or a similar name), who was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked her to personally check the room if she did not believe me. After staff inspected it, they admitted the heating issue was not fixed and could not be fixed at all. While waiting in the lobby, I witnessed multiple other guests experiencing the same issue. It
My husband and I have a home in Vermont we try to visit every season (we live primarily in South FL) and have found it easier since having a baby to fly direct into Boston, spend the night, and drive the rest of the way the next day. Our son is a toddler now and therefore we have spent many nights together in Boston at this point, and have tried a variety of different hotels. This location became our instant favorite since trying it and we haven’t moved to another hotel since! Every single staff member we’ve ever encountered have been kind, professional and accommodating. We are always recognized by our high status, given upgrades when available or a courteous late check-out. The rooms are clean and spacious and come with everything you would need, which makes traveling with our son a whol
Assistant GM lied about Marriott nationally not carrying FOX so that we would need to forget about watching World Series game in the room. Even once we had called another local Residence Inn who confirmed they did have it playing in their rooms he would not allow transfer of our reservation. It’s very rare for me to post a review but haven’t been this disappointed in customer service in a while. They also made me feel like a criminal asking to park our car in an out of the way spot in their entry way drive for thirty minutes while we changed clothes for dinner. The concierge didn’t believe that we were actually staying at the hotel without going to the front desk for confirmation. My business would quickly go under treating customers this way.
