Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Airport North/Virginia Avenue

Positive: This was similar to apartment style living, and the rooms were amongst the best I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen rivaled actual apartments and I was pleasantly surprised overall. Negative: My ice maker didn’t work unfortunately. Also the $30 parking fee. I was initially told it was free and only after I was already checked in was I told the fee (and I actually called and asked prior to booking). I know it wasn’t intentional, but still…

Great place!! The rooms were immaculate, and the front desk personnel were so kind and professional! Shout out to Rosey and Paula for going above and beyond when I left a personal item behind, they saved it at the front desk for me!! I am grateful for their kindness and Awesome customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Want to give a shout out to Rosie from the front desk. She & her bubbly personality were just what I needed after a very long drive. She talked & showed pics of her fur babies as we shared pics of ours as well. She was an absolute delight. I will stay at this hotel again just for her!! 👍

Overall, we had a decent stay. We stayed a whole week. Buildings look nice from the outside and can tell the room has been updated in the kitchen, seating/office area and sink/dressing area. But the beddings definitely need to be changed out. They were clean but quite worn out and were small for the small, it felt like old beddings from queen size was used on the king size bed. We were very pleasantly surprised that we didn’t hear much of the planes and trains passing by but the room doors closing was very loud when let swing shut on its own. This was annoying as there were a few days when other guests in the same building we’re going out very early in the morning.
