Regency Inn Richmond

We booked and paid in full through primastay, Confirmation email, money taken immediately.|Walked in with luggage → rude, unfriendly receptionist smirks and says “old management, your booking is not valid anymore”.|They demanded we pay AGAIN in cash or leave.|Meanwhile their website is STILL happily accepting new bookings and payments from other people right now (we checked on the spot).|Extra insults:|Laundry = $20 USD for one tiny load (pure robbery)|Receptionist was openly hostile and laughing about it|Had to find another hotel last-minute in the middle of the night.|This is not “new management” – this is organized fraud. They keep the online money, refuse the guest, and pocket cash from walk-ins.

Positive: The price and location Negative: The room had no place to hang clothes. Several patches in the wall.

Meigan at the front desk is a star. I have been travelling multiple cities in the past 3 weeks and have been staying at multiple hotels of all varieties. There were many disappointing experience even with top brands like Windham IHG. Meighan was a simply great. She was courteous, supportive, helpful and extremely proactive. I would come to Regency only because of the way she took care of us.

Just checkout pretty recently (10-15 minutes ago). Let me tell you something! This is one of the best hotel 🏨 I’ve ever stayed in my life ok?! Nice service, clean 🧼 rooms, incredible front desk Miss Megan out there! Highly recommend! God bless! Miss Megan number one ☝🏻! I’m top ✌🏼 🤭

The most clean, no bug having, reasonably priced rooms in Richmond. The front desk staff are all friendly and professional. Megan is the best. She is kind, and more than willing to help with anything you may need. The only downside is that their wifi sucks. That's literally it. No wifi definitely sucks but I'd take no wifi with no bugs over having wifi accompanied by bed bugs and roaches.
