Red Roof Inn Wilmington, NC

I went there for a beach trip last summer and the stay at this red roof inn was ok. Not the best and not the worst. I would say one thing would be stains on the bed. There were a few of them. We just decided to put our own covers on the bed as sheets. The pool was a greenish color, until the cleaner came to work on it. It didn't take long to be fixed. The location is also near many food places like Waffle house, Dunkin donuts, and Hooters. I do recommend this place for a family vacation hotel that is cheap and affordable.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Wilmington NC. Checked in on Thursday and out on Sunday. Myself, Spouse and 2 dogs. Rahi T, Rocky, and Mariah were very helpful and polite. Anytime I asked the staff for something they went out of their way. The room was clean, fresh sheets and towels. My only suggestion is that they need a TV channel guide in the rooms, their cable is a bit confusing. Our stay was quiet and enjoyable. They do have a 25 mile residency limit but they are not alone in Wilmington. Apparently too many locals chose to tear up the hotels instead of their homes partying, so a number of hotels in the area have that rule. Having a Waffle house right across the parking lot was very convenient too!

This hotel has extremely competitive pricing for the heart of Wilmington with beautiful clean rooms. The staff at front office has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while staying here. They also have helped in every way possible to get the lowest rate; along with any other needs we had. They are extremely kind and welcoming people who own and manage this hotel. Also, I have to mention it is the Only chain hotel that allows your 1st pet to stay for free which is definitely a game changer. The deposit is very low compared to other hotels also. I’m not sure why the rating is as low as it is because it should be atleast 4.8 rating. All in all, I give this hotel location 5 stars! The location was very good. The rooms were clean and price was great. We stayed for 2 nights with 2 rooms and 3 dogs and was right at 300.00. the staff was friendly and nice. The only thing we found wrong was the hot water wasn't very hot at all for the showers. Other that that the hotel was worth the stay.
