Red Roof Inn & Suites Jacksonville, NC

The rooms are dingey. Not cozy. The towels were hard and grating against the skin as if they air dried in the cold. One little shampoo bottle and one mini soap. After a long drive, I was really really looking forward to a relaxing shower but it was a definite mood killer. The lights were cold hard LED, the walls were chipped and repainted 500 times. The fridge felt like a moderate 60 degrees and my bottles of water never achieved a chill. I think the room experience never hit the mark and it kept falling short. The room struggled to be ok and it never happened. Night staff girl had strung out vibes and housekeeping needs some 101 on laundry and stocking. I added a star to my rating for the morning desk staff.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable for a week stay. I arrived to town early due to my sister having her newborn earlier than expected. The front desk staff Trina was able to accommodate my early arrival and for that I am so thankful for. Customer service goes a long way! My family loved every bit of the stay. Breakfast was also very good. All the staff there are very nice and friendly. Clean hotel! Highly recommend and I definitely will be staying here again for any future visits to NC.

People that were working front counter were extremely nice—- but two out of the three rooms we reserved were full of bugs. Checked out right after we walked in the room and seen the bugs and still have not received a refund back to my card yet.! Definitely will not be returning to this hotel😡

My husband and I were looking for a quick hotel to crash at on Friday night, 10/31. We booked at the Red Roof Inn at around midnight, and this sweet lady named Katherine helped us and even talked to us until check-in time. She was so funny and sweet. I would definitely come back just for her! She was very welcoming and kind the whole way through. The remaining staff were equally kind and friendly. The A/C worked perfectly, and the TVs were modern. The rooms were fairly clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. The bathroom was acceptable, though it had a leaky sink and tub. Overall, it was a good stay with a nice location and a reasonable price.
