Red Roof Inn Plano

I wish I read the reviews before booking this dumpster. Arriving at night it’s very scary 😱 it’s like a drug house from the movies. Within the first hour of arriving I saw the first cockroach 🪳. The room is clean, no foul smell coming from the room. The shower sucks water barely coming out from the shower. The toilet requires special techniques to flush completely. Many people live here with dogs 🐕 some people got two dogs 🐕. It’s my first night and I can’t sleep the neighbors are noisy and loud wake me up from my sleep. I put on the lights and I saw a bunch of cockroaches 🪳 on the floor. The bed 🛌 is made of spring and it’s uncomfortable 😣. Very cheap. I’m not comfortable here and I can’t wait to leave. They said in Texas they make everything bigger and better but it’s not always

If you're looking for a stay in Plano, I can't recommend this Red Roof Inn enough. John runs this place with incredible leadership and makes every guest feel truly valued like I'm at a five star hotel! The new owner is also amazing; he leads by example and isn't afraid to do the hard work himself. I prefer a hotel that focuses on the substance of their service rather than just the 'look' of it. I've always believed that a company is only as beautiful as its heart, and that starts with the depth of how employees are treated. Happy employees make for a happy stay therefore we all live a happy life! Huge huge shout-out to Erika, Dez, Andy and Hem-- you all emulate what compassionate quality care truly stands for! For the price, you think you’re getting a bargain, but you’re not… I’ve been living out of my car recently but had hoped to get a cheaper room come payday to be able to stretch out and have an actual roof over my head for a short time, and the price on this location caught my eye. Red Roof Inn has always been my go-to, but I absolutely will never visit this location again and make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague. First, the room amenities list a mini refrigerator and microwave in the king room I booked, but this room did not have one. Next, there was no deposit listed on the price when booked via the app (and when one of the front desk men argued with me about it, he said he could show me where but failed to do so and therefore, “let me” stay without paying it)… ne

Couldn't stay here! Left within 5 min of checking in and decided to go elsewhere. After noticing that the bathroom was flooded and there were roaches, went back to reception and he talked to manager about getting me refund for the room. I can't imagine where else the roaches were getting into. Anyways, I still haven't received the refund the manager promised! It's been 10 days since. I will update if anything changes. Update: I did end up receiving my money back. Seems like there was an issue between manager and Expedia processing refund.

By far one of the absolute worse. The services was not as good, the sweet housekeeping lady brought me a microwave cause there was none in my room, and she changed my bedding the first night I was there. There weren’t vending machines nor many amenities to look for. The room I was given was dusty, coffee on the walls, strands of hair lying around. And idk if it was poop or coffee on the back of the bathroom door. Disappointed and disgusted. Shady people standing in the doorways of the rooms watching ur every move. The WiFi ****** so bad it didn’t have enough coverage in my room. The outlets also weren’t strong enough to charge my phone! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!
