Red Roof Inn Palmdale/Lancaster

Receptionist was very soft spoken to the point I had to guess what she was asking. Room was muggy with no AC. cockroaches in the room isnt really something im grossed out at now woth budget motels, I know its hard to control them. Refrigerator worked. Other then that everything else was fairly mediocre. Main redeeming quality was location, decent place away from people.

Positive: nothing. Negative: The overall hotel was very dirty. The room and bathroom was dirty. The bathroom sink was broken on the side and you can see the broken woods and all the structures. There was roach and spider on the bathroom. the towel was dirty.

This was the grossest inn I've stepped into. The picture online seemed fine enough, but seeing it in-person was a completely different matter. My initial room was at the end of 2 corridors and I could hear everything. I knew that would be enough for me to request a change so I didnt note all the stains and damage beyond the fist impressions in the wall and the yellow discoloration on the furnishings. I requested a room change and they were nice enough to swap without issue.... The second room was worse. I got hit with the foulest smell that I still cant identify. Mold, mildew, ammonia, cigarettes, and/or something else? The second room was also just as damaged as the first. I checked out immediately after. Stay elsewhere even if you need to save the money.

They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for the audacity to charge more than $30 a night for this roach infested filthy place. I just stayed a week in a place that was $35 a night and was like a 5 star hotel compared to this. When I walked in IMMEDIATELY roaches started scurrying every which way. I was stomping on them left and right. The ac looks as if it’s going to fall out of the wall. Roaches clinging to the shower curtain. The fridge is falling apart. I’m pretty sure the ac isn’t working at all. I have a flight to catch in the morning and would rather not have to find another room. I went to the dollar store and bought Clorox roach spray and disinfectant. I cleaned the floor with a towel and it’s BLACK. Every surface is BLACK. Absolutely disgusting I may just sleep in my car a

Here’s My recent stay at the Red Roof Hotel in Palmdale was extremely disappointing. The room was very dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in. There were no basic amenities such as hand wash or shampoo, and the bathroom was in terrible condition—unclean and poorly maintained.What made the experience even worse was the feeling of being unsafe. People were knocking on doors late at night, and at one point, a dog was running around and sniffing at my door. It was unsettling and made it impossible to rest properly.Overall, this hotel failed to provide even the minimum standards of cleanliness, comfort, or security. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a safe or pleasant stay in palmdale.
