Courtyard by Marriott Palmdale

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Palmdale, and I have to say, it was a solid experience. I was in town for a couple of days for work, and this hotel turned out to be a great choice. Check-in was smooth. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long. I was impressed with how clean and modern the lobby looked—definitely had a fresh, updated vibe that made a good first impression. My room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was super cozy, and the pillows were perfect for a good night’s sleep (always a win). I also liked that the room had a mini-fridge and a microwave, which came in handy for storing snacks and heating up leftovers. Positive: It's quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the room can get dark. I am a morning sleeper. Negative: The refrigerator wasn't on and I didn't know I had to turn it on so my coffee creamer went bad.

Don’t let the “UTVA” confuse you, this is a Courtyard Marriott. Centered near endless fast-food chains and markets, the location is convenient, even for a late-night medicine run to Walmart. For safety, the hotel is locked and secure at night, keeping things cozy and calm. The room is comfortable, with a nice couch and a clean bathroom. If you’re in Palmdale, this is a solid place to stay.

Firstly let me start out, there were NO bedbugs. We were in room 214 and there was a vibration that literally vibrated the floor, and it shook the cabinet the whole first night we were there. We have no idea what the cause was but it kept us up the whole night. The second night it didnt go all night but we heard it a couple times. The fridge has a two hour timer. Very odd. There was a hair in the shower. There was no other setting other than scalding hot for the shower. The house keeping was very kind and helpful on our way out.
