Red Roof Inn Niagara Falls

This was a horrible experience. When checking in the lady at the counter acted like it was a chore to come out and check us in. While walking to the room i noticed that the floor in the wall ways were dirty. Entered the room turn on the heater. We left and came back about 10 hrs later and floor in the hall ways were still dirty. Also when we enter the room it was still cold mind you we left the heater on thinking it would warm up. Called the handyman he tried to get to work to no success. We asked him if they could change us to a room with a working heater and he said they were book. There was not many vehicles in the parking lot. He offered us a space heater and it was at that time we asked for a refund and told us he couldn’t do it. So we checked out and left. I would not recommend this

Positive: It was easy to locate, price was right and had a room available. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful when there was no TV remote. Negative: It wasn’t the cleanest, floor/walls were a bit dusty stained, a few spider webs, tub was a bit grimy from the drain being backed up/slow to drain.

Hotel should refill Drinking water boiler itself. Not by guests. This kind of small implement would give comfort to guests.

I checked in on 02/28/26. Had to pick up the phone in the lobby to get someone to come check us in. We got in the room the heat was not on. I turned the heat on. We left for about 9 hours if not longer leaving the heat on 85,we returned to the room it was still cold in. I called the front desk and told them the heater wasn't working I asked for another room he said they were booked, also never looked. There wasn't many cars in the parking lot. He offered a space heater that looked old. And it wasn't gonna heat up that room. I would not recommend staying at this place.

Location is great and beyond ideal, prices are pretty good. However, the rooms are filthy. I checked in and checked out 2 hours later when I found a nice hotel that would allow my dog. There was a soaking wet rag that someone had used as a wash cloth still in my room, and the shower is just dirty in general. The bed tilts when you get on it because it is so old and worn. Safety is also an issue here as there are a lot of doors to enter the building and they are all unlocked. They have sliding glass doors in each room that lead to parking lot and are only locked by a bar. This is such a let down coming on vacation and not feeling comfortable to stay in the hotel I booked.
