Red Roof Inn Grand Rapids Airport

guy behind counter ignored me while he spoke to an employee rather than acknowledge me and say he will be with me shortly. then gave me only one card key which I had to get reprogrammed later. the tub was clogged and im sure the cleaning people knew. black mold in the bathroom is very dangerous. long black hair in one of the 2 beds. no elevator but was given 2nd story room. holes in the walls, broken furniture. this place is a dump.

I hope i never end up in this depressing, run-down dump. It really has gone downhill in the last 8 or so years since I've been there. The room smelled strongly of old cigarettes, the desk covered in burn holes, mold in the shower, disgusting mattress and what looked like boogers all over the wall? Only good thing about it was that it's dog friendly and cheap but it's seriously depressing.

Horrible experience. The door was open to the room and it was 0° outside. I thought somebody might be in there. The room was nasty. No way was I staying there. Walk next door to the Drury inn. Had a great experience over there. Won't ever be back to a Red roof

I stayed as a weekly at this location for 2 months. Upon renting the room, i had observed the toilet was missing its screws. When I left they still had not fixed it.||While I was there a guest in my room who suffers from the disability of EPILEPSY had to call first responders to our room.|The manager there informed me they could no longer rent to me because of the police showing up with them.||The manager also stated that the sheriffs department had came up their to question them about me. She assured me that she told them all about me and my wife and where we worked and our circumstances. Because of this they could no longer rent to me.||I would love to know why this woman disclosed my entire history to laws enforcement. She had no business doing that. Even though I haven't done anything

The only thing going for this place was location. Was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. As soon as you walked in there was some sort of wall fixture or something leaning against the wall with skrews sticking out of it. The floor was just dirty and sticky in general. There is no way it was swept/moped. There were cigarette butts on the heater, holes from cigarette burns in the blanket. The toilet was obviously not cleaned as there was other people's DNA all over the toilet. The shower had graffiti in it along with a ring of red around the tub. There was a bag on the smoke detector.. the cable was not hooked up to the TV.. I truly could keep going and I am sure I am missing something.
