Red Roof Inn Columbus, MS

The room was clean & comfortable. The lady at the front desk was helpful & very kind. We were so thankful to have a place to go with power/ water/ heat due ours being out from the ice storm, even if it meant driving an hour or more to find it. There were no rooms available closer to home.

Positive: I LOVE how professional & kind the staff is to customers! The Staff is so attentive to the customers needs, and very polite, thank-you!!! Negative: The only thing that I disliked about the room is that it needed to be cleaned.

I booked a room here & specifically asked for a nonsmoking & every room that was presented to me smelled of smoke ! The beds were disgusting, lipstick all over them, they were dirty & more ! After reviewing all 3 rooms shown to me, I decide I want my refund because I no longer want to stay in the suites due to the horrible conditions of the rooms. I was not given a refund and the employees (of Red Roof Inn Suites Columbus, Ms) were very rude to me regarding my refund. I did not touch anything in the rooms. All I’d done was simply go in the rooms and inspect/smell them & I wasn’t satisfied & still was not given a refund. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Basic hotel. The room seemed clean, it was small, but was also right off the freeway in Columbus Mississippi so the expectation wasn’t too high. The staff were friendly when checking in and out. They do have a lot of channels on the tv….that was a plus.

Very clean rooms . Centrally located near downtown and the courthouse. I stay there a lot. This past time my TV wasn't working so I tried to call the office but my phone was not working. In the morning the low battery warning from the fire alarm started chirping. I asked them to help but they didn't so I left. I do like the staff . They are nice people but they seem to need more workers. I will try again and hope they do better.
