Courtyard by Marriott Columbus

I recently stayed at a Marriott Bonvoy property and overall had a very pleasant experience. One of the highlights of my stay was Ms. Priscilla. Her customer service was exceptional, and her warm, welcoming spirit truly made the trip more enjoyable. She was professional, friendly, and made sure guests felt valued from the moment they arrived. Employees like her make a lasting impression and represent the brand very well. The room itself was nice, comfortable, and met my expectations. However, I did notice a few small specks of black mold in the room, which is something I think the housekeeping or maintenance team should take a look at to ensure everything remains up to the high standards Marriott is known for. We stayed at the Marriott Couryard Columbus Mississippi for a football game. For the use the hotel gets for sports events, it is well kept. The common areas are in good condition. The carpets where the rooms are have been partied on, but they are clean. What I would like to comment on is the staff. The manager, Priscilla, was there almost 24 hours. The hotel was full and she was needed and she was there. She was so professional and someone Marriott should be proud of. The front desk person, Amber, was very helpful and guided all of us on what not to miss and where to go. The kitchen staff was exceptional. With all of us eating at pretty much the same time, they had a smile and made each of us feel important. The staff is proud of their hotel, and we would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel after attending the Egg Bowl at MSU, before our five-hour drive home the following day. Our experience was okay, though upon our arrival around 7 PM, we waited approximately 30 minutes in the lobby for an agent to show up at the counter. Despite our attempts to call the front desk, there was no answer. Eventually, an agent assisted us, and we were able to access our room, number 432. The room itself was okay, but we did notice that the bathroom could have been cleaner. Specifically, there was mold around the shower door and a cracked tile in the shower that also had mold along the crack, shower glass had dry soap. Additionally, the carpet was quite dirty (our white socks turned black after walking on it)...

Very clean rooms with comfy beds. Nice and clean bathrooms and common areas. Extremely friendly and helpful staff too! Especially Lilly and Boquisha! Marriot should be proud of this staff.
