Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbus North by IHG

If you are allergic to MOLD 🤢 🤒 🤮 DO NOT STAY HERE!!! For starters when you walk into the establishment the brick wall of MOLDY MILDEWY SMELL knocks you off your feet 🐾 now be it as it may over all it looks clean 🫧. The young lady at the desk was friendly enough until my husband had to have her change our room!!! Now we stayed 2 days the first day was bad... the first room had a VERY HEAVY SMELL OF MOLD AND MILDEW so we asked to change rooms!! What did we do that for the 2nd room was even worse first it wasn't clean 🫧 then the mold and mildew smell was just as bad but we had a whole new stank to deal with!! By the head of the bed 🛏️ it smelled like vomit 🤮🤢🤮 with the mixture of the sickly pee I have ever smelt!!! Who ever peed there really needs to see a DOCTOR 💊!!! Now that's NOT what the

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was very quiet. The room and the breakfast area were very clean. Carlos, at the front desk, went out of his way to accommodate us. Slept very well on the comfortable bed and quiet hall. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here December 12. The people who worked here were very friendly. I found the lobby to be dated , but that was ok. Our room was quite disappointing. We debated about the sheets as to whether they were dirty or stained and decided stains ( unacceptable) the bathroom door would not stay closed. The faucet handle came off. Even in a hotel that screens for a remodel this place needs to pay attention to the rooms much better. Never Again!!!

First of all the staff was great, attentive, and pleasant. The facility however had some issues. Elevators not working consistently, with one being out completely. The room was cleaned but not cleanly. Hairs in the shower, still urine the toilet from prior guest. The suite with the pull out did not have extra sheets for the pull out and we were only provided one towel for the room. The TV in the room did not work at all in room 312. Thankfully only there for one night. Didn't sleep the greatest but adequate. Maybe the facility is in transition but overall just not the most comfortable I've been in a Holiday inn.

This hotel is a wonderful example of what a Holiday Inn should be: Safe, clean facility with impeccably clean and comfortable rooms with a breakfast available with a number of tasty options. Staff here is above average and works together to maintain comfort and safety for all guests.
