La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus MS

Everything was pretty nice except for the long black hairs that were found in the sheets and towels… not sure if the maid has black curly hair or if things weren’t cleaned properly. Some questionable stains in the carpet and ladybugs everywhere. 🐞

Had 2 rooms for 2 nights and they were both generally clean. Slight noise outside but nothing too bad. Breakfast was good with eggs and biscuits & gravy plus continental selections. Breakfast area was clean, comfortable and nice. Staff was kind. Good place to stay for a few nights.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I only have 2 little dislike.Throughout my sheets a blanket there were strands of hair. Other dislike is the carpet my wife walked around with just socks for a while an her socks smelled sour. So maybe they need to shampoo there carpet.

My wife and I have stayed there before and the experience was less than satisfactory. We decided to give it another try because most the people who work there are very friendly and kind. The previous stay was the end of May into June of 2025. That stay, we had to move 2 times over our 10 day stay. First time because the shower was flooding the room when we used it. Second time because they shampooed our carpets without warning and it was very wet, and the third room worked fine. We were however charged our pet fee again and never reimbursed. ||This last stay in November 2025, the elevator was down all five days and we were on the third floor. We were offered a room down lower, but I did not want to take the chance that they would double our pet fee again.||If they could work out the proble

Positive: The ladies that work in the breakfast room are nicest employees. Very friendly and helpful. Negative: The shower had mold in it, sealing was cracked in several places, AC sounded like a jet taking off. Our shower stopped up and my husband was told by staff at the front desk to pull the shower drain off and pull the hair out of the shower. My husband fix
