Red Roof Inn Ann Arbor - University of Michigan South

I am personally in a tough situation. Staying here has kept me and my cat warm and safe. I know there are tough guests that stay here because of their affordable price or people just are in a bad mood and leave negative comments. But let me set something straight. I love staying here. the rooms are super clean, the front desk is amazing. Special shout out to "Maria" who is super kind and wonderful to talk to when I pop in just to get out of my room. They always have coffee, they allow your first pet free and if you have two only charge 15 per night. The grounds maintenance always say hi and the housekeeping is on point and also super friendly. I pray on this place because some like to take advantage of the smaller hotels. They work hard here and saved my life during a hard time with absolu

Stayed at this property for 2 nights. Have 2 handicapped people in the room. Arrived at 1am. This room was gross. Got up in the morning and noticed DIRTY SHEETS. Called front desk and Guest services for Red Roof Inn. They offered to switch rooms and I cannot because we are severely handicapped and my son is not here to help. Having allergic reactions to all the pet hair ( asked for a room without pet dander) . They replaced the chair. Asked for a refund for 1 night. They said if I EXTEND MY STAY they would give me a $45.00 rate??????? WHY WOULD I DO THAT???? NO one should have to stay in a room like this. Should not be an issue because this room should have been CLEAN when arriving and we checked in at 1AM. HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. RED ROOF PLUS you should be embarrass

Positive: The cleanliness and price. Negative: There were some missed spots on the toilet. Also, the rags ans towels were extremely rough.

The lady at the desk was so kind to this weary traveler! With no obligations on Sunday afternoon or on Monday, I slept like Rip Van Winkle. I didn’t need room service on the first day, so I put out the “Do not disturb” tag and I was able to enjoy sleeping! Clean room, adjustable temperature, a microwave and a small fridge made the room perfect! Thank you to the manager! 12/27: Two days after my first two day stay, I needed another two days because of the upcoming storm. Same conditions, same warm welcome and easy departure. Easy to rest, with a nice, clean room!

Great area. walked my dog all hours of the day and night and felt safe. pretty office park area. hotel was clean , stylish and newish. no complaints. gave low stars on service because i was there four nights and no cleaning staff for fresh towels or remove garbage. not that big a deal . other guests were nice and friendly.
