This place actually exceeded my expectations. I gave them 3 stars as I don't want to mislead people that this is a five star resort. If you want 4 or 5 star amenities they pay for a 4 or 5 star place. If you want a place at a good price point in a great location and can handle some inconveniences then this is your place. Did the elevators take a long time, yes, but while waiting in the lobby you can hear several different languages all being spoken fluently by the staff to help patrons. Was the sauna and steam room a little dirty, yes, but everything worked the way it should. Was there some construction going on by the pool deck, yes, but they were trying to improve the property. Did you have to rent a chair on the actual beach, yes, but they were there own small business who were not
My stay at the Ramada Marco Polo Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach from December 3–5 was not just disappointing—it was dangerous, upsetting, and handled with an unacceptable level of negligence by the hotel’s management. I was traveling with my infant child, and within minutes of checking into our room, it was clear that the environment was not suitable for any guest, let alone a family.||The bathroom immediately raised concerns: the tub lacked a basic stopper, the floor did not appear fully cleaned, and there was a strong odor of weed both in the bathroom and throughout the lobby. I reluctantly ignored these issues, hoping to settle in and enjoy the trip. But what happened next was completely unacceptable.||After finishing a shower, the entire shower curtain rod suddenly detached and fell
Everything was good everyone was nice and friendly except one older lady I think she was of Haitian decent but she was very rude our tv went out the whole night had to call the front multiple times and walked down there to see how long it would take maintenance to come fix it she was very rude cutting me off telling me means my husband called I said it doesn’t matter I’m paying my money show the hospitality but other then that everyone else was very nice and pleasant and I enjoyed the stay
I don’t often give reviews, but I recently stayed at this hotel March 2026; they deserve a positive review and some sincere gratitude. I originally booked for one night just to try it out and ended up staying for three. The staff was friendly, helpful, and hard-working, doing all in their power to accommodate. Yes, the hotel shows its age in some places, but it’s a landmark. Yes, the elevators can be slow and frustrating, but take the stairs; you could use some extra steps anyway. Yes, the rooms are slightly dated, but very clean and comfortable. I was pleased with the bedding and slept perfectly all three nights. The water pressure in the shower was great. I appreciated the towel service out by the pool as well as the menu offered at the poolside restaurant. There’s even a steam room
We recently stayed at the Ramada in Miami and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. There was visible mold in multiple areas of our room on both air vents, on the lampshade, and in the bathroom. It was also on the ceiling above the bathtub (I didn’t get a photo of that area), and you could clearly see spots that had been painted over where mold had previously been. The paint was already peeling and the mold was coming back through. I am allergic to mold, and I woke up with a severe headache and body aches. It was obvious something wasn’t right. I went to the front desk immediately and explained the situation. I was told they would make sure I received a refund, but later the refund was denied. I took photos and am posting them so others can make an informed decision. Cleanline
