Ramada by Wyndham Harrisonburg

Ramada by Wyndham. Harrisonburg, Virginia. Interstate 81, exit 243. This is a motel, not a hotel. The room door opens to the exterior of the building, no centralized lobby. Rates are very reasonable, and parking lot is big enough to accommodate vehicles with trailers. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and possibly recently remodeled. Everything worked as it should, and shower had great hot water pressure. Cracker Barrel and Dunkin' next door, couple of gas stations within walking distance. I travel for work, and I stay in alot of Wyndham properties. This Ramada has gotta be in the top 10% for cleanliness. I would definitely stay here again!

Positive: The location was good. The breakfast was also good. Negative: Our door did not close properly and the internal safety latch could not be used. The door was a definite security risk.The TV did not work in our room and one of the beds had dirt in the sheets.

It’s OK. It’s definitely a motel trying to pass as a Ramada. Breakfast is in a different hotel, which has poor choice. It was generally clean, however could benefit from a deep clean (Room 102). It’s a decent place, but it is charging the same per room price as other better quality hotels in the area.

i stayed here for only 6 days . and it was the worst experience ever, the staff is very rude and the manager here is rude and talks to you with attitude, cockroaches everywhere and ants the same thing for breakfast for 4 days straight. i stayed here with my family and siblings and its too expensive. instead of the 100$ deposit they charged me an extra 50$ for no reason when they said it was 100$ for a card deposit and 150$ for a cash deposit we paid with card and yet they charged me an extra 50$ for no reason and the worst part is one of the staff members that stayed next to my room was smoking and we had little kids in the room with us and the smell made them cough a lot and get sick over the smell and smoke overall i don’t recommend staying here.

Unfortunately I have to give a honest review..We killed 7 cockroaches in our room. We were only staying the one night and were very careful not to bring any of our bags into the room due to the fear of getting cockroaches in our stuff . I understand how difficult it is to rid a building of these bugs ...We will choose a different exit off the highway next time in the hopes of staying at one of the other Patel owned hotels...I will say usually the Patel owned hotels I give good reviews but unfortunately they dropped the ball on this one ..( no reply needed )
