Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton

The good: Building is beautiful. The interior is beautiful. The desk clerk was very professional and friendly. The bar had good drinks and good food. We had the charcuterie. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Parking was easy. The bad: Our room was number 230. We stayed the nights of 01/12/2026 and 01/13/2026. We had to go through two large steel doors to get to our room. Once we went through the first steel door, that next corridor was freezing like it was outside. The two heavy steel doors we went through made very loud noises when they were closing automatically. I'm sure that did not help the guests staying in that area. I know very early in the morning while we were still sleeping, we heard others leaving through those doors and I joked that it

I booked this hotel last minute during the most recent snowstorm in PA, and I’m so thankful I did. It was such a relief not having to sleep at the hospital and instead have a clean, comfortable bed where I could truly rest. A huge bonus was the covered parking area, which meant I didn’t have to worry about clearing snow off my car the next morning when I needed to head back to the hospital. Having a safe, warm place to stay allowed me to get the rest I needed for my next few shifts during the storm, and I truly appreciated how accommodating the hotel was.

Fabulously unbelievably beautiful historic Pet-friendly hotel, great restaurant & kind helpful staff on all floors, terrifically clean comfortable beds & bedding, easy access off the highway & very reasonable too. Our mini labradoodle was welcomed & surprisingly relaxed in the environment, easy to take her outdoors to do business. We will make this regular stop from now on, it is a perfect location on our commute from our vacation home in the Adirondacks south to our home in Maryland.

I thought the hotel was a great historic monument. The room was ok, large enough, not enough hot water, housekeeping personal were very nice and very concerning about if you needed anything. Bell Hop was very gracious with our very large luggage, one was very heavy. The food at this hotel is the bomb, Frank in the bar was outstanding in every way, service, drinks which he made were outstanding. The buffet that was at our event was delicious, could not ask for better food. Again the building is old, probably the reason for limited hot water, but they might want to repair the issue.

The most stunning beautiful building! . It's like walking into time gone by! Simply beautiful, nice large room, overlooking Scranton. Huge bar good drinks, all staff amazing, beautiful breakfast area beside main lobby where you can just spend time while eating breakfast looking at the beauty of the timeless tasteful architecture. It's a must see and I will definitely be coming back
