Montage Mountain Resorts

A great mountain to come to. This is the first mountain I ever snowboarded at over 7 years ago and just went back this year for the first time since then, and this mountain is great. We had a solid 8-12 inches on the ground so the conditions were fantastic and white lightning while short, is a real trail that you don’t really have on the east coast. Also they have the best prices around

The grounds are beautiful and not crowded at all... Even with an event. There is plenty of space on the trails, with excellent visibility and stunning views. As a beginner, I really appreciated how present and approachable the staff were—there was always someone around willing to help. I took an adult ski class, and my instructor, Katie, was amazing. She was incredibly patient with both me and my classmates and consistently went above and beyond to teach additional skills. My children enjoyed their classes as well and felt accomplished when they received actual report cards with feedback. Her calm, supportive approach made what could have been a very scary experience feel safe, memorable, and enjoyable. I’m so glad I chose to learn here.

Surprisingly good mountain with nice gems in Poconos. Maybe because they’re not part of any major epic or ikon pass holders radar, but this mountain wasn’t crowded at all for a weekend trip. There’s a decent amount of runs for beginners on the right side of the mountain, and the left side offers more for the advanced. I saw some time trial events you can sign up to participate in for $10. The terrain park was also opened and offered a variety of beginner, medium, and advanced obstacles. The only downside would be the food court/hall, as it was packed during lunch hour with no place for anyone to sit or camp at. All in all, an excellent choice in PA!

The resort exceeded my expectations. I had read that it’s not ranked in the top 3 resorts in the Poconos, so I wasn’t expecting much — but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a great place if you enjoy skiing or snowboarding. There are plenty of trails with different difficulty levels, and the lift-to-lift logistics are very convenient, making it easy to move around the mountain. There weren’t many crowds or long lines, and the runs are beautiful and scenic. Definitely recommend.

I have been here several times over the years, and I love it every time. I am so happy Montage was open today! The snow was amazing. The employees are always so nice, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Sue at retail and Jesse from ski patrol. Sue was so helpful, kind, and fun to talk to - a great start to my day! When I went to start my car after closing, my battery was dead. There were less and less people there, and the snow piles were so high, so I was getting anxious! I decided to ask a ski patrol employee I saw in the parking lot if he could help. Jesse was immediately happy to help me, and I am so grateful for him because it really felt like a blizzard out there! Thank you Montage for a great experience every time and to Sue and Jesse for making my day even better!
