Fairfield Inn Scranton

Everything is fine with this Fairfield Inn. Prospective guests should be aware that you can hear the adjacent freeway from within the rooms. A spacious gym is a bonus though it could use - and has space for - a second bench.

We had a great stay and would stay here again. Recommend a friend or family to stay here. Would love a bigger breakfast selection in the morning but overall had a great experience

Absolute worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at. I stayed over 100 nights last year at Marriott and this was the worst easily. First when I arrived about midnight after work, I arrived to an empty lobby and reception. No be back soon sign, nothing. I yelled to try and get someone's attention but there was no one to hear me. Close to 15 minutes later the front desk person arrives. I got checked in but no welcome gift, not even a bottle of water. I have high status and you always get a welcome gift but I guess not here. The market was sad and mostly empty. I popped by the gym because I normally try to get a workout in while on the road. Not this time.. it's boarded up. I finally make it to my room, no remote for the TV.. I would've stayed an extra night because I'll be in the ar

This place exceeded all expectations. It is "newly renovated" and really everything about the room was new and modern. Breakfast was the basics. Enough options. Eggs, ham, sausage, waffles and some cold options. Not over the top, but plenty good to get you started, all at a very modest room rate. Clean room, and very comfortable bed.
