Hampton Inn Scranton At Montage Mountain

This Hampton Inn is when a mid-tier hotel does all the little things well. Ample parking close by. Pool is gorgeous, well-heated, and well-stocked with towels. Breakfast is tasty and generous. Ample dining space for breakfast. Gym is clean and adequate for a handful of people at the same time. There’s even a water fountain with water bottle refill station centrally located. Heck, the employees were even professional, kind, and attentive! The room was a little small and the bathroom lighting was sterile, but everything was clean and orderly, so no complaints there. This obviously wasn’t the Ritz Carlton, but honestly, I might choose this over the Ritz. There’s a simplicity and calmness that comes with a no-frills experience done very well. I stayed here for the night into morning on my road trip. Seeing Montag Mountain was absolutely gorgeous. This hotel is nowheres near being a lodge, but it sure did feel like it. Breakfast was really nice. I really enjoyed the variety they had. Especially for the waffles. I would 100% go back to this hotel. It was so cute.

Just traveling through so it was a perfect place to get off and back on the highway. It is very close to the mall with many shops and restaurants. Next time we will plan more time to explore. Room was clean and as shown in pics. Staff was awesome. If I had to dislike anything it would be the $50 fee for my well behaved and house trained 15lb dog, but I do understand the need..We will be back!

This hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, convenient, and the staff is extremely friendly and so welcoming. The beds are so comfortable giving you one of the best nights sleep. My husband and I were extremely impressed and we will be back… Everyone and everything at this hotel was fantastic. Thank you to everyone at the Hampton Inn Scranton at Montage Mountain for a wonderful stay.
