Radisson Hotel Grand Rapids Riverfront

Hotel amenities were not as advertised and lacking. The restaurant on-site is closed and has been closed for quite some time. The pool & spa were also closed for maintenance, during time of stay. Coffee maker in the room had 1 cup and 0 coffee. Cable tv was dropping its signal constantly. Overall, the hotel was clean and tidy. Good for a one night stay but do not recommend for staying longer than that.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Grand Rapids Riverfront and had mixed feelings about my experience. The staff were genuinely very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay — no complaints there at all. Everyone I interacted with was professional and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, the hotel itself was not quite what I expected based on the photos online. The property felt pretty dirty and dingy in certain areas, and it didn’t match the appearance shown in the pictures. The rooms and common areas could definitely use some updating and a deeper clean. Overall, the customer service was a strong positive, but the condition of the hotel fell short of expectations. I hope management invests in refreshing the property because the staff really deserve a space that reflects

The rooms were very clean. The staff was super nice. We weren't aware the bar/restaurant was going to be closed during our stay but we utilized the hot tub instead. Easy on and off the expressway also! Also, only a short Uber ride to downtown!

Aside from an elevator being broken and the pool not being open, the main complaint I have about my stay was housekeeping. I was there for two days and three nights. The first day, they didn’t clean my room at all. The second day I specifically called to request housekeeping come while I went out to breakfast. When I came back, housekeeping had only cleaned the bathroom. They didn’t make the bed or do anything in the other part of the hotel room. I called the front desk because this is incredibly weird. They called me back and told me that the housekeeper said that the bed was already made, and she had cleaned the room. This was a complete and total lie. Who makes their own bed when they stay at a hotel? And even if it were made already which it wasn’t, she should still change the linens.T

Front door was locked before we even checked in, so the area is shady. Room was surface clean but overall dirty and missing items like a sink plug and blanket for the sofa bed. Pool and restaurant were closed although neither the app or website tell you that until you pay under need to know items. Paid extra for a river view but window was so filthy couldn't see out of it. Lastly the weight room was gross and missing 75% of the weights. Go ANYWHERE else.||||The only redeeming quality was the two ladies working the front desk. They were nice and helpful. They could work somewhere much nicer!!
