Quality Inn Wilmington

Overall, the hotel is very clean and it’s evident that they strive to make it as modern and pleasant as possible. The room we stayed in was quite decent as well. The TV was functional, and the room was spotless. It’s definitely a solid 3 out of 5. While it may not be the greatest hotel ever, it’s certainly not the worst either. The front desk lady was also very friendly and helpful.

Booked thru Expedia for a 3-day stay when helping my son move into his apartment. Checked in after 10 hour drive. Room was fairly clean, but very low quality, from the wall a/c unit (gave me terrible allergy attack) to the towel hooks to the bed frame. No carpet on floor. But the next thing we noticed was the noise. You could hear every word from the adjoining room TV. Then, in the morning, you could hear every rumble and clank as they set up for lobby bkfst starting at 5:45 am. Shower floor was also perpetually wet from a drip, so we were reluctant to put our feet in there. So wife & I decided it was best to find a better place. We explained to manager in the morning, who tried to steer us to another room. We said no thanks, I had already gone out and booked another place (Wyndham) across

We were put in room 101. On both Friday and Saturday nights, there seemed to be a party going on at the reception desk till after midnight. The noise was very high in our room with people at the desk apparently unaware of how loud they were "talking" and how noise carried into our room. Also there was a piece of mechanical equipment right outside the room that was very noisy. Breakfast was pretty bad; not much to choose from. Had to ask for things to be replenished as several things were empty. Overall not a very good experience for us.

This hotel was very nice. The staff were great. Breakfast is great dining area was cleaned. Food is great. The only thing that was a bummer was that the shower was not as clean as I would’ve like it to be the room itself was clean bedroom maintenance TV lamp little desk was clean unfortunately the reason I did not give it. A five stars is because there was mold around the shower bar handle NOT the whole shower let me be very clear. It was just around the handle. I did let the staff know, and they did make a note to take care of it other than that, the room was nice and clean. Good experience I would recommend.

I was enjoying my stay when at 11:05 the phone rang, and I was asked if I'm checking out. David the assistant manager assumed that I was bringing him a credit card with someone else's name, because he judged me off of my appearance.
