Quality Inn & Suites Gallup I-40 Exit 20

Front desk is AMAZING! I believe her name was Audrey! She was so helpful and kind and very patient which goes a long way for tired travelers! Really giving five stars bc of her! The room was good and the bed was comfy but the shower could be hotter! Would probably give the hotel itself 3-4 stars

Had a great experience except dealing with one lady… Upon arrival I asked if I could be put away farther from foot traffic because of my dog and they accommodated me. Very nice… Then in the morning a few minutes past 9am, which is when they stop serving breakfast on the weekdays I called the front desk to see if there was anything left or if the lady putting the stuff away could pause so I can get something quickly. She said it shouldn’t be a problem and she’d ask. I got there a minute later and one lady was putting the stuff away. And I kindly asked if I could just get a bagel and she looked like me with disgust and said it would have to be frozen, do you want a frozen one and continued to pack stuff up not offering anything while the eggs and sausage and waffles were still out. We arrived about 1:00, with check in not until 3:00. Katrina, who checked us in, said we were welcome to wait in the small lobby or she would unlock the dining area and we could wait there until our room was ready. We came in to wait and Katrina called me up and offered us a room on the first floor or second floor. We choose first floor. We were able to park right outside the door! The room was very clean, comfortable bed, great location near restaurant within walking distance! Great stay!

The room was not as nice and clean as the pictures on the website, but that might be because we traveled with a dog? The staff was not that friendly other than the gal Kaitlyn, who was working the front desk when we checked in. She was great! The breakfast was decent and there’s a lot of room to sit to have breakfast, but the room to get the food was very narrow and awkward/uncomfortable due to how many people were in there at one time. There was plenty of hot water and the Location was great! I just expected more for the amount of money paid, but then we did travel during a Pickleball tournament lol

I really don't like giving poor reviews but after a pretty long day of travel this was frustrating. The check-in was a little slow (one person), but he was friendly and nice after a long day. I could hear multiple conversations and TV shows playing in two or three different rooms when trying to go to bed. Room had everything I needed but a little tired and outdated for an 8.2 rating?? I will say the TV and remote worked well. That can be a challenge. Breakfast was typical and as expected and lady serving was very friendly. Sorry....I just expected a little better.
