Quality Inn Middleburg Heights near Cleveland Airport

First, they want a $100 deposit on top of $90 something dollars for the hotel(not worth it at all). First I book my room I get to it and one of the bed covers have a sticky spot and a handprint on it??? I don’t know what that was about but I called up to the office and some guy came and just gave me another one. None of the remote buttons work at all. The tub wont hold water and theres some brown rusty dirty spot on the floor. The blonde office lady was nice but thats about it

I would have given it a 10 on the basis of the staff. They are excellent. The amenities are also excellent. The lobby, excellent at it's value point. The Breakfast GREAT! The TV service is good too. The heat and AC worked perfect! The room was where it has issues. While the bedding was clean as were the towels. The coffee maker was missing its tray. The paint is peeling off the ceiling, The towel shelf was bent up, and I wonder when the floor was last mopped. So it's very close to making a good rating. The desk and housekeeping were excellent. Even at the low price it needs repairs and paint at least.

We've stayed at this Quality Inn several times, the first time right after they reopened after remodeling the first building. Helpful, friendly staff each time, but seems like there has been a change in ownership. Will comment that rooms are kind of a crapshoot - we've had some real good rooms, and some have needed some TLC. It is an older property, and often shows it's wear and tear (will assume they're still doing some remodeling/fix up). A couple problems we found on our last visit were taken care of quickly and to our satisfaction. We understand they had some new people working maid service, etc. Did have a typical Quality Inn breakfast to start the day !

it was a convenient location, but property is aged and needs some updating. The HVAC unit in all rooms is mounted on outside wall. My unit made rattling & banging noises throughout the night. I wasn't able to get a full nights sleep and I was in the last vacant room at this hotel. The room itself was clean and staff very friendly

I am a travel healthcare worker and have been shopping around for affordable stay, after reading other reviews I was reluctant but wanted to give it a try, I stayed in room 201 and was so amazed by the hotel, room was updated with hardwood flooring marble tiles in the bathroom, new mattress , the only thing that was wrong was the sink was not draining. I would definitely come back.
