Comfort Inn Cleveland Airport

Great location for my needs. It was about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the Cleveland airport and a great central location to all the places I needed to go to during my visit. I don't want to really knock the service since I didn't really use it. I didn't bother to have them clean the room, but when I went to the desk to exchange towels or even to check out, it seemed like there was never anyone at the desk. But there was a number to call in such instances. So I'm assuming the staff was very busy. They do offer hot breakfast. I never went but my brother went the first day we were there and never went back. He said it was terrible. The rooms were of good size. Clean. In general, room was ok. One light above sink was burned out. Another was flickering, then burned out, too. (I don't need much light early in the morning, so no problem there). More of a problem: blanket was very thin. TV was unplugged when I entered the room. Kleenex box cover was dirty and the box was almost empty. The large mirror had big streaks on it. The complimentary lotion bottle had been used already and was half empty. The shower curtain was thin and cheap, and kept coming open during showers. The hallway didn't smell clean. Doors entering corridors from the parking lot were propped open at night (they are supposed to be locked and require a room key card to open). From the entrance, everything is dusty. The doors and floors are dirty; they DON'T NOT maintain a high standard of cleanliness. It's disorganized. The front desk has piles of papers. The rooms look renovated, but they aren't cleaned properly; they're dusty, with trash in the corners and a bad smell. The hallways smell of urine. In the corner of the bed where the nightstand is, there was bloody paper. The bathtubs aren't disinfected; the accumulated dirty grease brown on bath tub.... There are insects crawling on the bed; I have horrible bites and itching. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. DON'T GO there. My company moved me to another hotel after seeing the pic. I've stayed in old but very clean hotels; cleanliness is vital.

My recent stay at the Comfort Inn was thoroughly enjoyable, largely due to the incredible staff who consistently go above and beyond for their guests. I was particularly impressed by the housekeeping team; I’d rate the cleanliness a solid 10 out of 10. Denny and Zion, in particular, do a wonderful job and clearly take pride in their work. The service didn't stop there—Sherry and Sally at the Front Desk were outstanding. They were not only diligent and efficient but also incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout my stay. Finally, I want to commend the General Manager, Jit. He is very accommodating and ensures that any requests or issues are handled promptly and professionally. I highly recommend this location!

Positive: Flight came in late was after 11pm and they sent a shuttle to pick me up even though it was after hours. Staff was nice hotel is what you would expect for the price but overall good experience. Negative: ""
