Quality Inn Jacksonville near Camp Lejeune

The room itself was nice. The sheets and floors were clean, the AC worked very well, and the towels were clean. However, there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom, which was disgusting. The hotel breakfast was good, but the elevator felt sticky. There’s a $35 early check-in fee if you arrive before the check-in time. While we were getting ready to check out, housekeeping repeatedly knocked on the door even after we told them we were packing up. They informed us there would be a $25 late check-out fee, which we agreed to. But when we went to the front desk around 11:25, we were told the fee was actually $35. The next day, I checked my card and saw I had been charged $45 twice. When I called, they said the correct fee was $45. They really need to make sure staff consistently communicates t

Positive: Staff was very nice and hot breakfast Negative: Cleanliness, there were ants and roaches in the room, the shower curtain, sheets and towels had stains, had to get a new iron as the one in the room did not work.

I booked a two night stay in two connecting rooms for my family so we could attend a funeral nearby. Our stay was unacceptable. On top of the furniture in both rooms being rusted and in poor condition, both rooms had cockroach infestations. On the first night, my wife found a dead roach on the windowsill in our room. In the other room, my children spotted a large dead roach under the desk and many roach casings next to the fridge. Later in the night, they saw MANY live roaches crawling around the room. It was too late to go to the front desk, so the next day we notified a manager. The manager, Crystal, could not have cared less. She did not offer to come see the room, nor did she offer any apology nor to refund or discount our stay. Instead she nonchalantly asked if we would like a new roo

I would NOT recommend this hotel. We stayed in a double bed room. Room was super dingy and had a smell to it. Lamps were rusted. We killed two roaches, patched up wall in bother the bathtub and next to the TV. Bed sheets and towels had stains on them. I don't understand how this hotel has a 3.8 star review, it definitely does not meet the standards of a 3.8 hotel. My first & last time staying there. I have pictures but no place to add them to this review.

The service Tanazia and the other staff members gave was beyond exceptional and informative. So customer service was not the issue. I found and killed a roach in my room. I wouldn’t stay there again but the people are first class.
