Great hotel adjacent to Lake Louise with lots of character. Outstanding staff and the food in the Dining Room is spectacular. Very small gym and an indoor pool and steam room. Would love a sauna and cold plunge but either exist. Rooms have real fireplaces for the winter and small balconies where you can sit and enjoy the view. Great value for your dollar and free shuttle every 30 minutes to Lake Louise which we utilized. The rail line is adjacent to the hotel and it is loud and runs 24/7 when the train rolls through. If you are a light sleeper, prepare yourself! We will be going back!!
Enjoyed a wonderful eight day vacation. We stayed in Villa 1001 and were attended by three butlers. Each one of them provided excellent service. Specifically would like to recognize Ana, Aldo and Eugenia. ||||||||||||||They all worked to ensure our visit was enjoyable, fulfilled various requests and followed up accordingly.||||The staff at this resort and level of service was suoerb. Unfortunately, nature has eroded the beach. Most is not swimmable due to rock, coral and seaweed. There is a pleasant beach in The Palms section of the property. Crystal clear water but quite shallow. ||||There restaurants and food selections were all very good. Highly recommend Me Casa, Italian restaurant. Lasagna was delicious as were a number of other selections. Both of our waiters (wish I could

4 stars. The hotel is not the Hyatt, but I was pleasantly surprised considering price and other reviews. Shared bathrooms are decent. Room is fine. I can only give two suggestions, which would be to turn down the air freshener (powerful scent) down a bit and having an extra bedside outlet for phone laptop.
Pros- it’s clean and close to everything. There is an adorable antique elevator and the staff is really nice and helpful. There is also a discounted shuttle service to get you to the airport. Cons- I was able to get a room with a bathroom (some don’t have them) however the shower had no hot water. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, not just out of my preference of firmness but actually was an odd shape and the center was more elevated than the rest of the bed. There is an old radiator system that sounds like someone is banging a wrench against the pipes. This woke me up several times during the night. Lastly, the shuttle van has no smoking signs all over, however the driver clearly smokes with the windows up. Just needed a place to lay my head the night before my flight. I feel like the v
