I enjoyed the hotel on my 10 day visit. The rooms are not as large as many chain hotels. That is to be expected considering the hotel was built in the 1920s. Boston Commons one block away, subway is one block and Trader Joe's is 3 blocks. I would suggest you bring your own refreshments and snacks to avoid the outlandish prices charged by the hotel. Several eating establishments including sea food, Irish, Starbucks and Cheers are near by.

Worst Hilton experience of my life. I spent 36 years in government service and almost always stayed in Hilton Hotels. Worst bed, A/C did not work 50% of the time and leaked water all over the floor. The price was absolutely gross, and the customer service was anything but supportive. I think Hilton is to a good chain, but this hotel is the bottom of the barrel.

Great experience. While I was here for only a business conference, the three days I was onsite were very accommodating. I would like to stay at this hotel in the future.

Wow. Can’t believe this hotel is a Hilton. The ballrooms are absolutely stunning but that is where the compliments end. Rooms are small, tired and dated. The housekeeping staff knocked on our door at 930, even with the do not disturb sign on, to ask when we were checking out. There was a couple in the elevator that had gotten keys to two rooms that were occupied by someone else. Staff were protesting outside at 7am. This place is a trash pit. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I had a conference here and stayed for 4 days. The good part is that the staff was nice and attentive. We got to the room and found there were only a few hangers. Next time we were in the lobby, we asked if we could get more hangers. We came back to hangers thrown on the bed. For a hotel that we paid almost $300.00 per night on a group rate, it is tired and has deferred maintenance. It is hard to see in the picture but the ironing board was old and had part of the metal sticking up. This ruined a nice piece of my wife’s clothes. The on premise work out room is a full service public gym. The good part is that there is a lot of equipment. The downside is that there are a lot of people. I like to work out early at 5:00am. The don’t open until 6:00am which mad it difficult to work ou
