Orange Village Hostel

Hotel weren’t trained or competent about booking procedures and policy. Some people were obviously high on stronger drugs and staff wasn’t in control of there environment.

I had a nice stay in this Hotel, the location is walkable and accessible to different transportation, the staff is friendly and try to do their best to provide a great service. I report a customer who smoked Marijuana in the room and they changed me to another room. I can’t stand that. And then in my new room, at 11pm another person checked in. And he kept going in and out the whole night. And he talked to himself disturbing people at night. ( I really thought he is a guy from the neighborhood LOL) Please enforce the rule. I love the breakfast. I give 5* because with the price I paid it’s very decent. Even though there is no heating in the room, LOL. I will surely be back

Great experience overall. My daughter was a little creeper out cause it was an older building but when we checked out she was bummed. She wanted to stay longer cause the staff was so kind. We got a private room with bunk beds. Pretty small but accommodating. We had the breakfast and it was so cool sharing spaces like that it teaches young teenagers how to be around others respectfully. The area did have a lot of homeless but that was not horrible. We walked 20 minutes to and from a local music venue. When we walked back it was 1130 at night and there were less homeless people then which seemed backwards. The streets are fully lit up and most of the people were in there own little world. So smile and be kind. We will definitely return. Thank you

Nice hostel! The employees were polite and all common spaces were clean. My room was also pretty clean. The hostel is in a sketchy location though

This is in Tenderloin area, which is one of the most sketchiest places I've been to. Hostel wasn't good either, there are plenty of better hostels nearby: Chapter San Francisco Way newer, nicer, cleaner hostel. They have curtains and way more space in room. Around same price
