Ocean Inn

I have a pretty good noise tolerance but the busses are pretty loud. The room was cold. There is a free standing heater that doesn't really work well. Room service was non existent. Maybe the best thing about the place is that theres parking. The parking is limited and first come first served. The price was good but I'd rather pay more for a better experience.

The location is really good, just a few minutes to the beach, restaurants and an 7Eleven. The staff was friendly. The Motel itself is old and shabby. The room had a very strange smell. There was black hair all over the bathroom. The bed was saggy but probably the best thing about the room. The tram is passing all night. The whole house shakes and it's the worst noise. Waking up every few minutes we rarely slept this night. If I would have paid what the room is worth it would not have been more than 20 $.

I had 3 nights at Ocean Inn. Wonderful location, near to the beach and 2 mins walk to Golden Gate Park, and a safe community.I will stay here again, for sure, next time i visit SF.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean / comfortable rooms. Great location by the ocean and Golden Gate Park. The only quibble would be , as some have noted, it was a bit noisy until about 1:30AM on a Saturday evening due to the bar below and the train station. Noise was noticeable but not outrageous. Consider bringing ear plugs. Other than that, great stay!

1st night I had a room to myself, king bed which was super comfy, huge room, huge tub, hot water and free parking. Checked out and then returned with family later. New room with twin beds, still huge and comfy. Couple things this time, but not much. Some cleanliness - baseboards could use some attention, parking is packed but free, location right by train and partially above a bar but not the loudest and then there’s the beach that is right there. I’d come back is all!!
