Oasis Guest House

This is better than a hotel with a more historical feel and look. Its a bit hard to find as there is no large sign outside. So you have to know the address, which Google maps brought me to with no issues. The place is blended in within a city block of "like" apartment homes that are all joined together. The place was cozy, and the continental breakfast daily was quite nice. Rooms are cozy. Its close to Symphony Hall, shopping, Fenway Park area and Berkley College of Music. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and an easy walk to all these places. So location is great in terms of proximity to culture, sports and entertainment. There are actually two guest houses under the same management: the Oasis and Adams a few doors apart. I booked the Oasis but stayed in the Adams. It was meticulously clean and well maintained. Whoever decorated it has some taste. Breakfast was a plus. I stayed in one of the cheapest rooms (shared bath, double bed, room 3’ wider and 4’ longer than the bed). I was a late registration for a big meeting and the conference hotels way over $600. This was a quarter the price. Was it luxurious? The bigger suites might be. This one was adequate for one person though. It has a great location (In the middle of the Berklee College of Music and near the Hynes convention center. If you are looking at it skeptically because of the price, don’t worry. It is not a luxury hotel, but I would stay there again

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had more variety than expected, so I was able to have a filling meal every morning. Although the bathroom was shared, it was only among three rooms, so I rarely ran into anyone else. The location was especially great — perfect for sightseeing! They also stored my luggage after checkout, which made traveling much more convenient.

Oasis lives up to its name. A cozy, safe place in the city. Very clean, safe, great location, friendly staff. Nice attention to details. Wonderful to coffee &breakfast in house as part of very reasonably priced room. (especially in Boston which is priced so high) A gem!

Oasis Guest House is wonderful. Before my stay, the manager, Nathan, helped switch to a triple room and he was extremely professional and helpful. I stayed at the guest house so my teenage children could attend a concert at House of Blues. The location was perfect. When I arrived, I was impressed by the beauty of the house. It is very inviting, and extremely well kept. You can tell the owners have put their heart into their house. The Christmas tree in the lobby was gorgeous and everything was perfectly placed. I was greeted with courtesy and kindness. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The owners have not missed any details.
